Al Sullivan is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ABT, Inc and the President and Chief Executive Officer of BFA Systems. ABT and BFA support the DoD and commercial customers with a broad range of engineering services.

General Sullivan began his military career as a platoon leader with 1/17 Cavalry in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg NC.  Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to command at every level, in peace and war, and served in key staff assignments to include the Joint Staff and Headquarters Department of the Army in Washington, DC. His last assignment was as the Commanding General of the US Army Aviation and Missile Command in Huntsville, Al.

On 10 September 2001 he retired from the US Army and accepted the position of Vice President for Strategic Planning with the COLSA Corporation, eventually serving as President/CEO until December 2006. He left COLSA to form his own business.  He acquired ABT and in 2007 and BFA Systems in 2010.  His education includes a BS in Marketing and a MBA as well as numerous military schools to include the US Army War College. 

In addition to his duties with ABT and BFA, he serves on the board for the Huntsville Botanical Garden, the board for The Business Council of Alabama, and is Chairman of the Alabama Aerospace Industry Association.

With over 40 years of engineering experience, Michael A. Morris is a highly skilled leader in the development, design, and testing of advanced digital, analog, EO/IR, and RF systems. He co-founded ABT Inc., and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Secretary of ABT Inc. Michael plays a crucial role in strategic business development, technical oversight, and the mentoring of engineering teams.

Michael has extensive expertise in FPGA development, embedded systems, and obsolescence mitigation, as well as in the design of complex systems such as missile launchers, radars, and high-energy laser systems. He is also an experienced hardware/software architect, with significant contributions to major defense projects such as the Multi-Mission Launcher (MML) and the Palletized High-Energy Laser (P-HEL) system.  Michael has a B.E.E from Auburn University where he graduated with Honors. Michael has also completed his M.E.E from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he specialized in Control Systems and Digital Signal Processing. Michael also just received his M.B.A. from The University of Tennessee where he completed study abroad coursework at the renown Manheim Business School in Germany. 

Doug Morris co-founded ABT Inc., and currently serves as the Chief Engineer and Facility Security Officer at ABT, Inc. His recent work includes designing and assembling a complete test system for CFCS LRUs, from concept to production. He also led the U.S. Army’s ICE project, developing vehicular diagnostic systems for internal combustion engines. His expertise spans a wide array of electronic systems, utilizing microprocessors, FPGAs, and C/C++ programming.

Before joining Alpha Beta Technologies, Doug held key engineering roles at leading companies:

Phase IV Systems, Inc. – Led the development of a Residue Number System (RNS) signal processor and secured a $23 million contract for advanced radar technology.

KBM Enterprises, Inc. – Designed missile interface hardware and established the company's electronic assembly and contract manufacturing capabilities.

General Electric – Designed electric control systems for oil well drilling and maritime propulsion systems.

Doug’s career began as a cryptographic technician in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant (E-5). He holds a BEE from Auburn University, with graduate studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is also a licensed commercial pilot with multiple certifications.
